What is Aarhus Ø and Bassin 7?

Absolutely one of my favorite places to hang out with friends, family, or even by myself if I’m in the mood for solitude and gorgeous surroundings. Aarhus Ø (Aarhus Island) is a vibrant, newly developed harbor area in the city of Aarhus, Denmark. 10 years ago much of the area was undeveloped and full of shipping containers.  It’s now a modern neighborhood we have witnessed being built from scratch, and it has quickly become popular thanks to its stunning architecture, relaxing waterfront, and numerous activities designed with families in mind. Bassin 7 is at the center of Aarhus Ø. It’s not just a beautiful spot for a walk—it’s also full of fun and engaging activities for kids and adults alike.
